As much as I love Wired, I've never been one for this kind of 20/20 hindsight post. Most predictions end up wrong - Rob Enderle wasnt the only one to get it wrong about the iPod - scores of Slashdotters thought the same thing. Predicting the future is hard and nobody is good at it - better to look at one's own mistakes & learn from them than point & laugh at others.
